EMBRAPII (Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company) works by connecting universities, research centers and companies through an agile innovation model, with low bureaucracy and non-refundable financial support for technological development projects.
The InovaAgro – Technologies for Agriculture unit is focused on developing innovative solutions for agribusiness, a strategic sector of the Brazilian economy. Its objective is to promote technologies capable of increasing the competitiveness, sustainability and quality of agricultural production.
UFPel, through the Faculty of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel (FAEM), has more than 141 years of experience in the development of technologies applied to agriculture, in addition to integrating important innovation environments, such as the Conectar Incubator, the Pelotas Technological Park and the Food Innovation Hub of the Southern Region.
